Omarchy Quattro on T1 MacbookPro
TLDR; you can run Omarchy Quattro on an old MacbookPro with T1 touchbar and everything works (except fingerprint reader).
Here you can find my instructions, to get it working:
https://github.com/cschaba/macbookpro14-3-linux

I have created this manual with support by Claude Code. I gave it the description of the problems, and it startet to find out how to fix them. It took around 1/2 day.
What works now:
- touchbar
- WLAN supports 5GHz now
- audio in/out including volume control
- webcam
- control brightness of display and keyboard
Whats not working:
- fingerprint sensor
I guess the best way to get it working is to install Omarchy Quattro regulary, setup Claude and let it read and execute the instructions.
