Reinstall ThinkPad with Omarchy Quattro
After watching the Announcement for Omarchy Quattro by DHH I grabbed out an old Intel MacBook and installed it for testing. Installation was really smooth but there are some issues with the older T1 MacBook Pros. Touchpad not supported, bad battery etc.
So I took me a heart and erased the openSUSE Tumbleweed from my ThinkPad L13 and installed Omarchy Quattro.
It took about 1:43 minutes, because of the slow USB Stick, then it was ready for use! Wow!!
Everything worked from the beginning: Touchpad, ThinkPad Stick, Display internal and external 4k Monitor, Audio playback and recording. The Fingerprint reader and the special function keys like volume control or brightness.
Even the Battery runtime “feels” really good.
First impression: wow, I am flashed!
